Anniversary

Today marks the end of 4th month/start of 5th month anniversary in Dunedin, New Zealand! How time flies..

First came to Dunedin on 10 February.. hmmz.. tt juz seemed like yesterday!! haven realised tt i've been here for 4 months already!! there are still so many things tt i wanna do!! but i'll be leaving here to go queenstown on the 19, followed by touring north island!! and my last paper ends on the 17!! how am i to accomplish all my tasks, enjoy dunedin for the last time and finish packing and clearing my room?? haiz.. i wish there were more than 24 hours a day..

will be gg to the kebab place we had our first meal in dunedin to celebrate the anniversary.. wad a fitting meal to conclude our final days in dunedin.. haha.. dun give a damn abt exams already.. ok.. mebbe other than music!! there's no way i'm gg to screw up tt paper!! my wish is to come back to dunedin to do a masters in music!! shall go take photos with the lecturer and tutor after the music exam!! =p

ok.. back to studying stats.. eekz!!

SIANZ!!!

bleahz.. wad a demoralising 1st paper.. there sure wasnt enough time to think and finish all the questions!! and no wonder the z-distribution table was given!! i was supposed to use a z-value from there!! idiotic me..

eek.. and i found out i'm 3rd in class for music with 49.6/50 and the 2 in front of me had 50.. freak la.. and its all cuz i did not get full marks for the first test.. yikes

dun feel like studying already.. shall juz sleep till wed when i have my next paper.. oh how much i hate studying!!

1st paper

I have an exam in less than 2 hours and i've not finished studying.. this is so gonna be the most unprepared finals ever.. eeyer.. gd marks for internal assessment is to pull my lousy marks in the finals.. sianz

and what do i hear rite now?? the wind howling fiercely outside my window.. it muz be freaking chilly and i've to brave the strong winds to go sit for my first paper?? its more comfortable sitting in my warm room in t-shirt and shorts.. and not wearing 5 layers to sit for an exam lar..

ok.. enough procrastinating.. back to last minute cramming.. paper will be over in less than 5 hours.. and it'll be 1 down and 4 to go!! i muz be crazy to do 5 papers here.. tts wad everyone says and tts wad i'm starting to feel rite now.. den y was i even course-approved to do 6?? hmm..

and the wind outside is really scaring me rite now.. sounds like a hurricane is coming or sth.. haizz

Examinations

Eeyer.. super sianz.. first paper on monday but only started studying today.. die lar.. gg to flop all the exams.. oh well.. luckily is S/U..

handed in my last project of the semester.. oh wait.. of this sep.. eek.. 30 pages report inclusive of appendix.. never in my life have i submitted so many pages of individual work!! anyway.. the use of the software keep crashing my laptop.. and think my laptop is dying already.. time to change when i get back!!

started on my report onli on thu evening lar.. cuz b4 tt was juz using the software to run models after models.. cuz it takes a few hours to run.. i went to the maths lab and logged in to 3 computers to leave the models to run overnight on wed.. no choice lar.. my laptop wont be able to run so many models one after another.. already keep hanging and has become so slow!!!

but!! went home after the library closed on thu nite and went back to sleep.. tot tt mebbe i shld get some rest and wake up early to finish the report.. haha.. in the end had to rush like crazy in the morning.. but cuz my laptop kept hanging.. i ended up playing with my PSP while waiting for the laptop to execute a single command (which takes abt 5 mins), such as copying and pasting graphs.. so slow lar!!! anyway.. its finally over.. and mebbe finally time to start studying for exams.. haiya

haha!! but cuz i was so tired.. went to rent a dvd and bought kfc to pig out!! mind couldnt work so juz decided to stone and watch a movie instead!! i know lar.. watched miss congeniality so many times already.. but still its quite nice!! my brain does not need to process anything.. juz need to laugh at the lame jokes!! tts so relaxing lar.. went to take a nice nap too.. haha!! sounds like a super slacker rite.. but i'm gonna suffer next week during exams.. sianz

haiz!! why does time pass so fast?? i'll be leaving dunedin on 19 june and start travelling.. and tts like in less than 2 weeks?? gonna miss so many pple here at Otago!! juz feel tt my time here has been so short!! lovely friends and lovely memories!! things are juz not gg to be same when i go back to spore.. i know i've changed quite abit already.. haiya.. y do all gd things have to come to an end??

gg back to spore scares me.. not sure whether i can re-adapt to the lifestyle there.. i have kinda forgotten about many places in spore.. cant rmb the names and locations.. its like i have been so integrated into life here at Otago that I kinda feel that I have lived here for a super long time.. even though its only 4 months.. i really love the life here!! its what i have always dreamed of!! hence, i'm thinking of coming back here to do a postgrad degree or mebbe work here!!

hmmz!! i love travelling!! and i do wish to go Vancouver or Portugal to visit my dear coaches!! i'll definitely want to plan a trip after studies to these 2 places!! anyone else interested?? Europe and Canada!!

gg to miss the local boccia club here.. missed the training session on fri cuz was rushing out the project.. will miss another session on wed cuz of exam.. hope i dun get to miss the fri session as its the last fri session.. hmm.. mebbe shld get sth for aaron.. will prob be gg dinner with the rest on wed?? not confirmed yet but i'll definitely be buying them dinner!! paul has been so nice to write a testimonial for me cuz SDSC wanted one.. and leslie in canada will be helping me get accreditated cuz SDSC requires it.. aiyo.. feel like i'm toubling them but they have been so nice!! i realli hope to see leslie and buy her a nice meal lar.. but dunno when will i ever get to see her?? she has helped me get in touch with paul and the local boccia club and i've gained lots while here!! muz thank dave for giving me a ride down every wed also and sending me back.. haha.. he's quite nice lar... admire him quie a bit for his commitment to the club!

A Wonderful 21st

I had a wonderful and memorable 21st birthday here in NZ and I wish the day would last forever!! thank you so much to all my great friends here in NZ who have made the day so lovely!! I specially wanna thank tess, maly, tammy darling, yana darling and tosin for giving me surprises after surprises!! love ya all!! =)

while doing my assignment at the library on tue nite.. tess and maly had the idea of celebrating the start of my 21st yr at the uni's clocktower.. it would be juz awesome to hear the clock chime 12 an be officially 21 years old!! these babes were juz so wonderful lar!! bought a cake and sparkling grape juice to celebrate!! it was a wonderful experience and i had plenty of fun with them!! even though it was -1 degrees and my toes were frozen in the cold cuz i was wearing sandals, it still feels gd to be sitting in the cold and juz chilling!! thank you babes for making the start of the day so memorable and special!! =)

another surprise awaited me when i got back!! tammy darling, yana darling and tosin were waiting for me to celebrate too!! thank you tammy darling for the wonderful album!! it is a wonderful reminder of the lovely time spent at Queenstown when we ran away!! those are really fond memories!! thank you yana darling for the wonderful cheese cake!! u always make so nice and yummy cakes!! and the cute sizes with the candles were juz so beautiful!! and thank you tosin for the tee!! i'm really speechless!! so now its 50-50!! =p they are all lovely gifts and you are all great and lovely friends!! thank you so much for the wonderful times spent together and making this day a truly special one for me!! =)

wanna thank my flattie iram for her prezzie too!! had an 8am class and she was up early too!! gave me a surprise in the morning with a present!! thank you so much iram!!

hehe!! tried sth different today with tess and maly!! went to clubs and societies to try out their lunch.. gosh!! it is really filling and a whole new experience!! the bread is probably homemade and really huge and gd!! maly is right.. my 21st bday is full of new experiences.. which is gd!! haha!! rented dvds for a sleepover at maly's place during the weekend, which i am so looking forward to!! it was so fun watching transformers on sun!!! =)

had a parcel from ZK!! thank you so much for the prezzie!! it came on time lar!! i hoped mine arrived on time for your bday too!! and Brigit was there at the office, and she sang me a bday song!! feel so much warmth and love on this wonderful day!! juz feel that the day couldnt get any better!! =)

was at boccia when my dear sweet RA Ofeira came over with a cake from toroa, and a flower from her! thank you so much Ofeira for the lovely flower!! too bad i wasnt around to receive it from her.. but another surprise was in store for me when i got back!!

tammy darling said tt she would be cooking dinner for me.. but when i got back.. tess and maly were around too!! each of them had prepared a dish for dinner!! the wonderful babes had kept me in the dark lar!! tess and maly were still saying tt they would be in the library.. gosh!! the dinner was lovely!! and it was great fun juz chatting and joking around!! i had loads of fun!! =)

for dessert, i had 4 different kinds of cakes to choose from.. never felt so spoilt for choice b4!! i had tammy darling's creme brule, yana darling's cheese cake, tess and maly's cake and toroa's cake!! i was so full from dinner and dessert!! and oh!! did i forget to mention that the lovely babes bought me my fav drink coke?? i havent had coke since i got off the qantas aeroplane in feb lar.. and i think the sudden dose of caffeine got me a bit high cuz we started doing lots of random stuff *winks* =p but i had a truly enjoyable and lovely evening!! gd company, gd food and gd music!! wad else could i ask for?? =)

hehe!! of course i cannot forget all my friends who remembered my bday, no matter where they are!! hopefully i dun miss out anyone here!! in no particular order

Updates!!!

First and foremost!! muz wish ZK a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! sorry!! was away for the weekend so did not have a chance to leave u an offline msg to wish u happy bday!!

Realised that I haven't been updating for a SUPER long time now.. too busy with assignments and tests and weekends away from Dunedin.. kk.. let's start from last last weekend!!

ran away from dunedin with tammy darling to Queenstown!! it was a weekend getaway from a terrible week of sch.. and it was so relaxing!! although it was freezing.. i seriously enjoyed the time spent with tammy darling!! it was so fun juz to walk around town, checking out souvenirs, spending our 21st bday together by the lake.. and basically juz chilling!! wished that time could juz stand still so that i would never have to return to dunedin.. sigh.. y do all gd times have to come to an end??

spent another terrible week again in sch.. aiya.. exams coming up but still so many assignments being handed out for us to do.. so spent another week in the sch library.. sianz..

BUT!!! i went to mount cook for the weekend that juz past with tess, maly and april!! it was a very relaxed trip too and i really enjoyed it!! no hurry, no rush, no fuss!! stopped by places wherever we wanted, whenever we wanted.. it was really own time own target!! even had the time to go swinging at a playground!! haha!! mount cook is realli beautiful.. and there were so many snow-capped mountains!! too bad the clouds were low, so pictures couldnt realli capture how pretty the scenery was.. but the views were gd!!

the weekend holiday ended with tess and maly coming over to my place to watch transformers!! haha!! missed the movie cuz i was in US last yr.. but i finally had the chance to watch it!! i loved the movie lar!! and it was so fun watching with the gals!! we were so random but also in tandem lar!! =p

and so.. my week started with me spending it in the library again.. sigh lar.. i forsee 1 whole week in the library again.. exams in less than 2 weeks but still tons of assignments to clear first.. eekz!! so juz leave me offline msgs or send me emails and i'll reply as soon as i can!! =p
