hey peeps!! I have sent out MOST of the postcards today!! =p hopefully can reach u all by end of next wk?? i heard tt it takes about 2 weeks to arrive in spore.. so yah.. anyway!! all the best for your coming finals!! I'll try to send out the remainder of the postcards by the end of this wk!!
APRIL is a super duper busy month for me.. mid semester exams and tons of assignments.. and STAT431 presentation next wed!!! eekz lar!! and i'll only know the paper i'll be presenting this coming wed.. sianz!! i know nothing about bayesian stats can.. have no idea wad he has been toking abt.. aiyo..
an impt event coming up next wkend tt will basically take up both sat and sun.. super impt tt i gotta ask my bro to post my stuff over tt wasn't shipped over the previous time.. hope i'll not flop at this event and make a fool of myself.. haizz.. lots of things to consider la... this event has officially become my 6th module..
music lecture was cancelled at the last minute today.. went to the LT and there was a notice pasted on the door tt said tt the lecture was cancelled.. gosh.. and i rushed out of my flat to attend lecture after lunch lar!! since i wasn't sure if tutorial would still be held, decided to hang around for an hour and den go to the tut classroom.. in the end there was onli 2 of us plus the tutor!! i guessed tt the tutor came from home or sth?? he walked in with his wet umbrella and was yawning away.. was quite amusing lar.. and he din noe tt lecture was cancelled.. or he would prob cancel tut also lar!! anyway.. decided to bombard him with questions since i was quite bored.. but it was quite an interesting tut since i learnt more than what i've learnt over the past few tutorial sessions..
oh yar!! this sun marks the end of daylight savings.. which means that NZ will only be ahead of spore by 4 hours!! so amazing lar!! i have an extra hour on sunday!! 1 more hour to slp!! yay!! read a friend's blog about him being robbed of 1 hour due to start of daylight savings in the US.. hehe!! and i'm being given an extra hour!! how cool is tt lar!! =)
anyway!! if i dun blog anymore this wk.. it means tt i'm dying under the workload i have.. and prob spending more time outside my room and only coming back to my room for sleep.. so juz leave me offline msgs and stuff!! i'll reply them when i see them!! =)

Easter Trip
Finally!!! school has started and ended for the day!! and i juz finished my test!! eekz!! din realli study much la.. since i onli got back from my nice easter trip yest.. so juz went for the test and finished it in a hurry.. but think i made some mistakes?? din slp much so din realli read the questions properly.. aiya.. shld have been more careful and checked my work.. but it felt kinda shuang to be the first to hand in the test paper though.. hehe =p
anyway!! back to my easter trip!! spent a wonderful 5 days 4 nights travelling to invercargill, bluff via the southern scenic route, te anau, milford sound and queenstown!! manz!! i'm already looking forward to the next trip.. NZ is juz so beautiful!! and my photos do no justice to the scenery.. cant realli potray the beauty, grandeur and breath-taking views of the sights.. aiya.. NZ is juz so amazing!!
haha!! firstly!! i muz introduce everyone to MANDY!!! she has been bringing us around to see the wonderful sights!! she has been quite powerful enough to bring us up steep gradients and to bring us through unsealed roads to see the wonderful sights.. super impressive for a small car ehz??
DAY 1
left toroa at 6.15am cuz we wanted to go catch the cathedral caves at low tide.. and at the same time catch some sights on the way.. visited nugget point, cathedral caves, purakanui falls, mclean falls, curio bay.. but i think the most memorable was when we wanted to go to slope point, which was the southernmost point of South Island.. lol!! it was raining heavily and tess, maly and darie din want to leave without taking pics at slope point, where there were signs to prove tt they were there.. lol!! i din wanna get wet so din get out of the car.. they struggled against the strong winds and were back in the car before even gg over the fence tt would lead them to the path, as they decided tt they wouldnt be able to make the 20mins walk.. it was quite a funny sight to see them in the rain while i was warm and dry in the car =p
ended up at invercargill for the nite and we stayed at a backpackers inn which was very cosy!! stayed at kackling kea's for the night and the owners even made bread for all the backpackers.. haha!! i kinda enjoy gg backpacking.. its quite fun!! and road trips are fun too!! shall consider gg backpacking after graduating!! anyone interested??
DAY 2
explored a bit of invercargill b4 saying gdbye to darie as she would not be joining us on the rest of the trip.. the town is rather small and not as nice as dunedin.. but we spent the nite there since we wanted to go to bluff..
bluff is so beautiful!! totally love the sea view from the top of bluff hill.. and love the view from stirling point, where the last signpost of the southern scenic route is..
drove on to clifden's suspension bridge where we stopped to have a break by the river.. manz.. we even had a sip of the river water.. it was so clean and fresh!!
things were not as smooth-sailing as we would have liked.. we were looking forward to spending 2 nites at this deer farm enroute to te anau, but when we arrived there, they told us tt we din have a booking there.. darn la.. but the lady was nice and helped us call other backpacker inns to see if there were any beds left to accomodate the 3 of us.. finally managed to get 3 single rooms at a campsite near lake te anau.. but it would be kinda dangerous for us to stay alone.. so we decided to drive around the town of te anau to see if we could stay at other motels or backpackers.. and luckily we did!! parkland motel is juz so beautiful!! its like a hotel room la.. did i forget to say tt the motels here in NZ is like at least a 4 star hotel in Spore??
went to the lake after checking in to catch the sunset.. but we were kinda late after all the hassle.. had a nice picnic by the lake though!! so loving the life lar.. =p
DAY 3
drove to milford sound to catch the cruise.. manz.. the view along the way is totally amazing!! seriously, the mountains look like a fake backdrop but it is seriously real.. its juz tt the play of colours on the mountains and mist by the sun gives the mountains a fake look.. but u noe wad?? i'm juz soaking up the wonderful views with my eyes.. the camera cant seem to do justice to the marvellous scenery..
stopped by mirror lakes.. manz!! the reflection of the mountains on the lake is really nice!! think the reflection is even prettier than the real thing la.. =p
the cruise was realli nice!! juz the sea and the mountains on both sides.. even managed to catch seal pups basking in the sun!! was kinda soaked by the waterfall also.. but it was fun and refreshing!!
DAY 4
left te anau to go queenstown, and i had a great time here!! visited many places where i visited while i was in NZ nearly 4 years ago.. so nostalgic!! stayed at the black sheep backpackers inn.. which was very nice and warm.. and had a huge kitchen!! watched maly bungy jump.. lol!! it was kinda scary la!! my heart nearly stopped for her.. i still cant believe she took the plunge.. manz!!
there was this elderly woman who took the sky dive.. and she did the sky tower in auckland!! i'm so amazed lar!! she's so brave and daring!! and there was this guy from germany who did a double flip while bungy jumping.. so impressed.. he told me he would try doing the flip and he really did it!!
DAY 5
was quite sad to leave queenstown.. it had been a rather fun trip.. stopped by the deer park to get up close to the animals and visit some Lord of the Rings filming location.. gosh.. it was really up close and personal with the animals.. the moment i bought some animal feed, the animals were flocking to me.. it was quite scary to see a herd of animals crowding around.. but it was quite funny also!! but the funniest moment was when we were at the middle of the mountain, and we stopped to look at the LOTR sites, and suddenly we heard goats bleating.. we saw a few and den a whole herd flocking towards us.. we promptly locked ourselves up in the car la.. the whole herd surrounded the car can.. it was super funny.. cuz now we were the ones who were enclosed..
it was rather foggy up on the mountain.. but the LOTR sites were nice.. but the pictures would have been better if it wasn't foggy.. hmmz!! muz go back to queenstown again and visit the deer park!!!
and tt concluded the easter trip.. drove all the way back to dunedin with a few stops for food.. haha.. quite sad when we had to return mandy.. oh well.. it has been a great experience and great fun!! looking forward to the next trip!!

the easter break is finally here!! had a super busy week cuz had to do planning for the trip and at the same time complete the physics reading tests and homework.. and its finally completed!! whew!!
hopefully, i've got everything i need for the trip.. dun wanna forget anything.. haha!! i want gd weather too!! but saw some forecasts tt it may rain over the next few days.. haiz!!
gg to invercargill, te anau, milford sound and queenstown!! travelling along the southern scenic route.. so shld see lots of great sights!! but will be rushing for the first part of the morning tml cuz we wanna go to the cathedral caves during low tide.. and the entrance to the cathedral caves closes at 11.. hence we gotta leave at 6.15amif we wanna make stops b4 the caves.. haiya.. so early!! but it should be worth it!!
anyway!! this easter trip is a gd break from everything.. though i'm not working hard here and it has been quite slack.. it is still gd to go away from sch and lessons.. hehe.. nth to think abt except to take in the beautiful sights NZ has to offer =p

More...
blogged a rather short post yest cuz was super tired.. but now i'm feeling so refreshed!!
juz spent some time lying on the grass outside st david, opposite the clock tower building, basking in the sun!!! the weather was so gd today and we shld have gone to the beach!! oh well.. had lessons until 4 but we left our tut early cuz there wasnt anything to be done.. and i ended up drinking ice choc with ice-cream in the sun!! while tess had her ice coffee with ice cream!! there were many pple enjoying the gd weather too, and there was this half-naked guy juz sun-tanning himself while doing his readings.. it was quite funny.. haha!!
i had always envisioned myself sitting on the grass and enjoying the sun while studying.. and today, i finally had the chance to bask in the sun while listening to music!! oh manz!! wad a wonderful life!! hope the weather will continue to be gd and i can do this more often b4 winter comes!! or before it turns super cold..

haha!! firstly!! had pictures taken with my eye candy so it was a great nite!! good food, good music and good ambience!! priyanka suggested tt mebbe we could hold a gals' nite at one of our flats and juz have fun!! whahah!! aroha, roto and wahinetoa simply rox!!
it was rather cold tt day so we din want to spend too much time in the garden of glenfalloch restaurant.. or we could really take beautiful pics.. haiz!! wad a missed opportunity!! i heard tt toroa holds farewell dinners too.. hopefully it would be at the same place and mebbe this time i could take nice pics!! oh wait!! tt would be in winter!! argh!! no more nice flowers!! =(
but it was a really wonderful night!! totally love toroa for organising all the activities so far!!

visited the larnach castle which was on top of a hill..the garden was very beautiful and the view from the top of the castle was magnificent!! too bad we couldnt take pictures while in the castle.. budden there wasnt much in the interior anyway.. it was the gardens that was breath-taking =)

shld go back in winter when there's snow!! i believe the gardens will be very beautiful with all the snow too!! the pictures taken in winter tt we saw were seriously amazing.. looking forward to gg there again!! =)
drove to portobello, the small town in otago peninsula.. and it was seriously small.. only had 2 cafes, a mini-mart and mebbe tts all?? the fish and chips from one of the cafe was really gd!! lots of chunky chips and the battered fish was yummy!! the apple shortcake from the other cafe was equally delicious!! had a great lunch there!! anyway.. wouldnt have tried it if my sandwiches werent left in the car of the driver.. haha.. so mebbe its a blessing in disguise?? =p
drove up to the albatross centre to hopefully get a glimpse of the royal albatross.. but too bad we din have a chance to go in.. mebbe the next time.. but we managed to catch 2 sea lions basking in the sun at the coast juz below the albatross centre!! and we were so up close!! jia yih went onto the rocks and was so close to them.. but they were not even afraid of us!! they were juz lazing in the sun.. haha!!

drove to allan's beach in the hope of catching a glimpse of the penguins.. but too bad we didnt had a chance to see them.. cuz they only came out at dusk.. haha!! mebbe after the easter trip.. maly and i were discussing tt mebbe we could cycle around the peninsula and mebbe spend a nite at the beach!! and we could catch the penguins in action den!! =)
saw many mehmehs and cattle dotting the hilly landscape.. we were so funny.. kept stopping the car to take pictures of the mehmehs and cattle.. and the roads were so narrow!! we were so amazed that the road can handle 2 cars driving in different directions.. it felt more like a 1 lane road than a 2 way road.. my conclusion was tt NZ drivers are skilled!!

haha!! firstly!! had pictures taken with my eye candy so it was a great nite!! good food, good music and good ambience!! priyanka suggested tt mebbe we could hold a gals' nite at one of our flats and juz have fun!! whahah!! aroha, roto and wahinetoa simply rox!!
it was rather cold tt day so we din want to spend too much time in the garden of glenfalloch restaurant.. or we could really take beautiful pics.. haiz!! wad a missed opportunity!! i heard tt toroa holds farewell dinners too.. hopefully it would be at the same place and mebbe this time i could take nice pics!! oh wait!! tt would be in winter!! argh!! no more nice flowers!! =(
but it was a really wonderful night!! totally love toroa for organising all the activities so far!!
more on the otago peninsula trip..
visited the larnach castle which was on top of a hill..the garden was very beautiful and the view from the top of the castle was magnificent!! too bad we couldnt take pictures while in the castle.. budden there wasnt much in the interior anyway.. it was the gardens that was breath-taking =)

shld go back in winter when there's snow!! i believe the gardens will be very beautiful with all the snow too!! the pictures taken in winter tt we saw were seriously amazing.. looking forward to gg there again!! =)
drove to portobello, the small town in otago peninsula.. and it was seriously small.. only had 2 cafes, a mini-mart and mebbe tts all?? the fish and chips from one of the cafe was really gd!! lots of chunky chips and the battered fish was yummy!! the apple shortcake from the other cafe was equally delicious!! had a great lunch there!! anyway.. wouldnt have tried it if my sandwiches werent left in the car of the driver.. haha.. so mebbe its a blessing in disguise?? =p
drove up to the albatross centre to hopefully get a glimpse of the royal albatross.. but too bad we din have a chance to go in.. mebbe the next time.. but we managed to catch 2 sea lions basking in the sun at the coast juz below the albatross centre!! and we were so up close!! jia yih went onto the rocks and was so close to them.. but they were not even afraid of us!! they were juz lazing in the sun.. haha!!

drove to allan's beach in the hope of catching a glimpse of the penguins.. but too bad we didnt had a chance to see them.. cuz they only came out at dusk.. haha!! mebbe after the easter trip.. maly and i were discussing tt mebbe we could cycle around the peninsula and mebbe spend a nite at the beach!! and we could catch the penguins in action den!! =)
saw many mehmehs and cattle dotting the hilly landscape.. we were so funny.. kept stopping the car to take pictures of the mehmehs and cattle.. and the roads were so narrow!! we were so amazed that the road can handle 2 cars driving in different directions.. it felt more like a 1 lane road than a 2 way road.. my conclusion was tt NZ drivers are skilled!!

A Lovely Weekend =)
Firstly, I managed to finish my stats assignment and handed in before the deadline on fri! haha!! was on a high after tt cuz i knew my wkend ahead would be gd!!
on sat itself, i was busy rushing out another stats assignment due on mon.. haiz.. y did i take so many stats modules?? assignments after assignments and computer labs after computer labs.. oh well.. had to complete my assignment cuz had toroa's welcome dinner tt nite and i would be gg on a day trip on sun!!
toroa's welcome dinner was held at glenfalloch restaurant at the otago peninsula.. it was such a lovely place!! the food was gd and the ambience juz perfect!! but it was rather posh and had to observe some kind of etiquette while eating.. but after the meals, it was relax time!! delicious dessert and great music!! totally enjoyed the night!!

i had to crawl out of bed the next day to go to the otago peninsula for the day.. slept super late and had to wake up super early to prepare sandwiches for our picnic.. oh manz!! i left my sandwiches in the car of the guy who came to give us a lift to the car rental company.. sigh.. oh wellz.. in the end had takeaway fish and chips which was so delightful!!
anyway.. back to otago peninsula.. the views are breathtaking!! awesome, lovely, picture-perfect.. anything that can be used to describe wonderful views!! i'm so in love with the country-side kind of life here.. juz greenery and greenery and the all famous meh-meh and moo-moo! =p
i'm not sure how i should describe my trip.. but the only thing i can say tt it was beautiful!!! lovely!! if only i could stay here forever and take in the sights.. tt would be totally perfect!! maly is already 99% on retiring in NZ with me!! haha!! anyone else wanna retire in NZ with me?? =p

arghz!! assignment due in a few hours and i'm not done with it!!
juz realised tt i've forgotten to do lots of stuff.. haha!! eg. writing postcards and sending them out!! have already written half of the postcards to be sent out.. but the other half still not written.. and i'm only sending the postcards out all together cuz i'm too lazy to make a few trips to the post office =p
forgot to reply e-mails also.. haha!! pple will think i'm MIA.. sigh.. will get down to doing all these next wk!! i promise to send out the postcards next wk!! =) and reply emails also.. haha!!

An Exciting Week!!
argh!!! its wed already and what have i done??!!! nothing much except to slack and enjoy what dunedin has to offer!! hehe!!
as usual.. falling asleep at certain lectures.. and becoming super awake right after classes has ended!! many assignments due this wk.. eekz!! muz start doing them or i would end up not slping again.. yikes!!
went to town with tess on tue during our long break!! haha!! ended up shopping around for stuff.. everywhere is having their end of season sale and its super cheap to get clothes now!! but no chance to wear their summer wear since its turning cold =( oh well.. but one highlight of the day is tt we went to have a japanese lunch!! tess' RA's recommendation is really gd!! the food is quite cheap and its so gd!! so wanna go back there for lunch again!! but we'll try the jap outlet opposite the next time =p
we did something really new today!! we brought packed lunch to sch!! tess came over to my flat last nite to make pasta.. we put cheese on top and put into the oven.. and it looked like baked pasta.. really yummy!! here at otago.. many students bring their own lunch and heat them up at the microwave stations!! we have already started planning what we should bring for future lunches.. hehe!! i think i have been thinking too much about food lately.. but everything here is yummy!! =p
toroa welcome dinner is on sat nite!! oh manz!! dun think i can fit into the dress i brought over.. shucks.. put on too much weight already.. and gym is not helping me.. yikes!! oh well.. will try to shed some fats until the dinner is over.. den can go back to enjoying life!! =p
made plans to go down to otago peninsula on sun also!! haha!! hopefully can see the wildlife in close proximity!! and at the same time let tess try out her driving skills before the easter trip.. lol..
i'm so excited about week as there are many activities gg on.. whether its in my flat or outside of toroa and otago uni.. hehe.. life is juz so great!! oh well.. even assignments, readings and wadeva deadlines cant seem to put a damper on my mood =p

1 month in NZ
time really flies!! today marks my 1 month in Dunedin.. or to be exact.. 4 wks.. i juz cant believe that i've already spent 4 wks in NZ and the time that i have left here is getting shorter.. eekz!!
hmmz.. guess nth much happened today.. woke up early for flat breakfast to welcome my new flatmate since one of my flatmates moved out to stay in a university flat.. my new flatmate is from hong kong.. very pretty and sweet and as tammy darling calls her.. the baby of our flat since she's the youngest.. lol..
went grocery shopping after tt.. spent less on groceries this wk since i've decided to start eating healthily and watch my diet.. eek!! some pple have commented tt i seem to put on weight.. and tess, maly and tammy darling and a few others are quite shocked by my expenditure on groceries each wk.. oh well..i will try not to return to spore looking rather round.. =p
grace!! rmb ur promise to go exercising with me when i get back!!! =p
went to the visitor centre at the octagon to get more info for our trip down south during the long easter break.. hehe!! so excited!! will be away for the long wkend in 2 wks!! =)
parted with tess and maly to meet tammy darling at the gym in the late afternoon.. hmmz!! din really know how to go to the gym from meridian shopping mall.. but decided juz to find a shorter route with the rough bearings of where the gym was.. it was such a bother to have to walk back to sch and den walk to the gym.. and i would be late!! so decided juz to walk in the direction of where i thought the gym would be.. luckily i was right!! i walked for a while and started to get worried tt i would be lost since i was in a part of the town which i had never been b4.. but luckily i was walking in the right direction!! it was juz tt the gym was further than i thought it would be.. haha!!
this time i felt tt i exercised more than i did on friday.. bcuz i ran a longer distance on the treadmill and cycled the same distance as i did on fri within a shorter time.. hmm!! hopefully i can keep fit and lose some fats!! but first i muz hope tt i can discipline myself to go gym regularly.. haha!!
currently aiming to go gym three times a wk, but this would reduce to twice and then once as the weather gets colder!! lol.. its juz an excuse la.. cuz i think i would be too lazy to go to the gym unless someone drags me there.. or i'm already there for some other reasons =p
eekz!! need to start getting into the mood of studying.. i've physics reading tests to complete online.. and i heard tt there are like 7 or 8 of them for the first module / collection of chapters.. yikes!! haven even opened the textbook nor looked at the notes.. sigh..
lots of activities on after lessons next wk.. hopefully will find time for everything and get at least 8 hours of slp each time!! haha!! i'm such a dreamer!! =p

First Time for Everything!
Too tired to blog yesterday so here I am with ramblings about my past 2 days!!
Went for STAT251 tutorial which turned out to be a computer lab session.. eekz!! realised tt other students have used the computer software package before and knew how to interpret the results and stuff.. so they had no problem with the assignment!! and it was due the next day!! poor me stayed awake till 5am to do the stupid assignment but went to sleep b4 completing it bcuz i was too tired.. managed to finish it b4 the deadline anywayz.. darn la.. 2nd wk of sch and i'm awake till 5am!!!
grace!! thanks for accompanying me to do my assignment while you did your tutorial!!
hehe!! skipped my 8am lecture cuz i was too tired when the alarm rang.. but thanks to jiang yang for waking me up via msn or i would have missed my next lesson!!
anywayz!! even though i had to complete the assignment.. i did take time off from it to make honey-glazed chicken wings!! yay!! so happy it was a success on my first try!! tammy darling and daisy said it was nice.. hehe!!
despite feeling super tired from lack of slp.. i still went to the gym after lessons with maly!! its the first time i spent 1.5 hours at a gym i went to for a first time.. even in pgp.. the first time i go to the gym during a semester i would only be there for like half an hour cuz i'm super unfit.. but i actually did exercises for 1.5 hours yest!!! so amazed at myself.. lol
went back to toroa and had a sushi-making session with tess!! both of us were super excited and on a high.. spent 1 hour preparing the ingredients.. cuz we werent skilled at using the knife la.. hard to cut carrots and cumumber into nice long strips la.. and hard to skin avocado!! but the sushi was a success!! we were so contented and happy.. lol.. tts the life!! had diced apples with yoghurt for dessert!! yummy!! listened to music and singing along to it while we enjoyed our dinner.. hehe!! lazed around after tt since we were too full to do anything.. but we were so contented and happy!!

A short trip to the beach =p
hehe.. dun be envious!! the weather the past few days has been totally dreary.. cloudy, rainy and cold!! it was so good to finally see the sun!!
the decision to go to the beach was done on an impulse.. the weather looked gd and we decided to go!! i was really high on the way to the beach!! never felt so good seeing the nice sunny weather.. cloudy and dark days really put a damper on my mood!! eeks!! how am i gg to survive winter where the days are short and nights are long??
anyway!! pls do not think that the beach is juz next to otago uni or sth.. we had to take a 25mins bus ride to the beach.. so imagine how much time we spent there lar.. quite short in my opinon.. since we still had to rush back for lessons.. but realli enjoyed the break from classes!! =)
wow!! never saw the sky so blue in a while, and the waves were majestic!! there were surfers in the water.. tot it would be freezing cold but the water was alright!! totally love the beach!! walking on the soft white sand really removes wadever tiredness there was.. so relaxing and refreshing!!! =p
went to try the garlic bread recommended by the sep students from nus.. it was totally GOOD!! yumyum!! it felt so gd juz sitting in the sun and enjoying the relaxed lifestyle.. but too bad it was short.. haiz!!
totally love dunedin!! sun would mark my fourth week in NZ!! we were amazed at how time seem to fly here.. even though everything is quite laid-back.. time juz doesnt seem to slow down!!

Updates!
Autumn is here!!! freezing here in Dunedin rite now.. temp is now ranging between 8-15 degrees.. eekz!! super cold lar..
went for the otago spore club gathering on sat.. met other sporeans who were also in dunedin.. but many of them had been there for a few years already.. i guess it was still nice to meet fellow sporeans even though many of them already had an accent of some sort.. they're organising a movie nite on sat and watching 10,000 BC.. hmmz.. see how lar.. toroa is organising a tramping trip.. may want to go for tt instead..
sunday was a cold and rainy day!! eekz.. and we had to go grocery shopping or we would starve for the wk.. haiz.. we braved the rain and cold wind to walk to new world to get our stuff.. was totally drenched by the time we got there.. gosh.. autumn is so cold and rainy.. wonder what winter would be like?? i heard tt there is hail here.. eekz..
quickly shopped for our groceries and hurried back to toroa b4 gg over to maly's flat to celebrate her flatmate's bday.. i finally heard deepty sing!! deepty is a cute and sweet gal living in maly's flat.. haha.. and we made her sing on her bday!! but she really has a nice singing voice.. =p oh!!! and we made our own coke float!! haha.. but some of the guests who never tried it b4 din realli like it.. mebbe cuz it tastes weird the first time..
went back for flat dinner after tt!! daisy and cheng made a terrific dinner!! wow.. we had a soup plus 4 dishes and rice.. made me kinda miss homecooked food back in spore.. argh!! geck!! nasi lemak, chicken rice etc etc.. (i know u're so gonna kill me for this post.. haha =p) ooh!! and we made cheng sing a song for us and daisy put up a performance on the piano accordian!! whoa!! she's ranked 7th in the world!! how cool is tt?! i really enjoyed the flat dinners we had so far.. its fun and realy hope tt the flat bonds well together thru these dinners..
ehz.. cuz of lack of slp.. i slept thru like 2 out of 3 lectures today!!! i feel like slapping myself lar.. cant believe it.. sit right in front of the lecturer also can slp.. tml better keep myself awake by all means.. eekz!! feel so slack as compared to the other students.. but i gotta finish 2 stats readings by wed!! argh!!

went for the otago spore club gathering on sat.. met other sporeans who were also in dunedin.. but many of them had been there for a few years already.. i guess it was still nice to meet fellow sporeans even though many of them already had an accent of some sort.. they're organising a movie nite on sat and watching 10,000 BC.. hmmz.. see how lar.. toroa is organising a tramping trip.. may want to go for tt instead..
sunday was a cold and rainy day!! eekz.. and we had to go grocery shopping or we would starve for the wk.. haiz.. we braved the rain and cold wind to walk to new world to get our stuff.. was totally drenched by the time we got there.. gosh.. autumn is so cold and rainy.. wonder what winter would be like?? i heard tt there is hail here.. eekz..
quickly shopped for our groceries and hurried back to toroa b4 gg over to maly's flat to celebrate her flatmate's bday.. i finally heard deepty sing!! deepty is a cute and sweet gal living in maly's flat.. haha.. and we made her sing on her bday!! but she really has a nice singing voice.. =p oh!!! and we made our own coke float!! haha.. but some of the guests who never tried it b4 din realli like it.. mebbe cuz it tastes weird the first time..
